14 Cross Country at Kolomoki

The middle school cross country teams competed yesterday at the SW GA Middle School Championship. The boys finished 3rd under the leadership of Nathan Smith, Lawson Brinkley, Bailey Suite, Reid Harbin, and Calvin Scott. The girls finished 2nd and were led by Brighton Miller, Addie Rinehart, Hope Williams, Olivia Sawyer and Maggie May. Congratulations to both teams!

The cross country teams competed at Bainbridge High this past Saturday. The middle school boys placed ninth overall and were led by Baylen Young, followed by Reid Harbin.  Baylen finished 12th out of over 200 runners. Valdosta shuts out Thomasville

For the second game in a row, Thomasville’s offense has sputtered to get anything going.  In a weather delayed game, the Dog’s defense showed much promise as they held the Valdosta offense to just 10 points, with the only touchdown coming after a Thomasville turnover with less than 3 minutes to play in the game.

Stone hits homer for Lady Dawgs

In a game shortened by a lightning delay, freshman Ellie Stone hit her first home run in Wednesday’s softball game against Brooks County. The Lady Dawgs fell short 12-4.
